Andina Travel has been an authorized Inca Trail operator since 2002. To receive this certification, we must prove our accreditation with the Ministry of Tourism (MITINCI) and demonstrate compliance with the statutes of the National Institute of Natural Resources (INRENA). These statutes require us to follow the Law for Porters, manage waste and garbage in an environmentally-friendly manner, and demonstrate adequate camping and safety equipment. We offer several options for our passengers with the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, one of the most popular treks in the world. For any of the options, we guarantee a first rate service that includes varied, healthy meals, professional guides and staff, and quality equipment. Our top priorities are the comfort, health, safety, and enjoyment of our passengers and to leave as little impact on the natural environment as possible.
