Cusco / Puno

We leave Cusco early in the morning on the Inka Express bus, which stops at four tourist sites along the way to Puno for a guided explanation. A buffet lunch is also included during the trip. We arrive to Puno at approximately 4:30pm. This evening, a representative will visit your hotel and explain about the following day’s tour of Lake Titicaca.

Lake Titicaca / Puno

Morning boat trip on Lake Titicaca to the unique floating reed islands of the Uros Indians. In the afternoon, we explore the inhabited island of Taquile. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world and the meeting place of three cultures: the Aymara, the Quechua, and the Spanish. Legend says that it is the birthplace of Manco Capac, the founder of the Inca Empire. Return to Puno late afternoon for overnight stay. B,L
