This incredibly scenic 1-day downhill hike in the Sacred Valley of the Incas is a perfect way to get out of Cusco for the day and enjoy the splendor of the outlying region. We depart Cusco in the morning and go by private transport to the archaeological site of Moray, passing through the typical Andean farming village of Chincheros on the way. Day Tour – Sacred Valley

We also offer this tour with a pooled or private service. With both services, we depart Cusco around 8:30am and drive to the town of Pisac, our first stop in the spectacular Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here we visit the artisan’s market and ruins (private service) and then continue to the town of Urubamba, where we enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with international and typical Peruvian cuisine.

Day Tours – Machu Picchu Tour

With the Quechua name meaning “Golden Cradle,” the mysterious and dazzling Inca city of Choquequirao is located in the beautiful landscape of theVilcabamba Range over the Apurimac River Canyon. Dense forest covered this Inca site for many years and has just recently been revealed. According to historians, Choquequirao was the dwelling of the last rebel Incas of Vilcabamba, and like Machu Picchu, the Spanish were thought never to have discovered it.

Gastronomic Tours (Cooking Classes)

For those who want the complete package to Machu Picchu in one day or with an overnight stay, this tour allows you to enjoy your time without worrying about the details—we take care of it all. The tour begins at your hotel/hostel in Cusco, where we pick you up and transfer to the San Pedro train station. Here you will meet your guide and other passengers on the tour and take the 4-hour train ride through the spectacular Sacred Valley.

You are picked up directly from their hotels (usually they are indicated a more accurate time to not be awake an hour and a half) then leaving at approximately 4:45 in Cusco finishing collecting the entire group we are traveling for 3 hours towards the beginning of the mountain of Colors where we will have a breakfast buffet where we will eat very well to be able to be prepared for the 3 hours walk.

Comenzamos con la recogida de su hotel a las 4:30 a.m. con nuestra camioneta, allí le proporcionaremos algunas mantas y una breve explicación para comenzar el viaje, en dirección al noroeste de la ciudad del Cusco. En la ruta pasaremos por diferentes pueblos, caseríos hasta Limatambo (valle florido), desde este punto ascenderemos hacia Mollepata. En el camino nos detendremos en el Mirador de Markahuasi, y observaremos los restos arqueológicos del mismo nombre, donde nuestro guía proporcionará información, continuando a través de la hacienda Mirador distinguida por pertenecer a uno de los presidentes del Perú, David Samanez Ocampo .
